The hotel group, which boosts 21 properties around East Africa, will open Roho ya Selous in Selous Game Reserve in August and Jabali Ridge in Ruaha National Park a month later.
Selous reserve is one of the largest remaining wilderness areas in Africa and is known for its varied landscape of grasslands and water ways.
Roho ya Selous
Roho ya Selous will have eight stretch canvas tents including one family tent, with each tent having an over-bed “evening breeze” cooling system for the hotter months.
The camp will also have Wi-Fi with guests also getting the opportunity to engage in game drives, walking safaris, boating safaris and fishing (catch and release) at Lake Nzerakera and the Rufiji River system.
The reserve is located less than an hour drive from Dar es Salaam, and combines easily with Ruaka National Park for a longer and contrasting safari itinerary.
Spanning a vast 45,000km, the Selous is larger than Switzerland and is home to just a handful of small safari camps, ensuring an exclusive safari experience.
Jabali Ridge
Jabali ridge is set high on a rocky kopje overlooking a landscape dotted with spiky palms and bulbous baobabs.
The lodge is strategically set to enable uninterrupted exploration of Ruaha National Park.
