Hilton marked 100 years of global operations on the 31st of May 2019. As part of activities to mark this auspicious occasion, Hilton Nairobi was involved in a community initiative aimed at rehabilitating Nairobi’s central park.
Over 100 trees were planted at Nairobi’s central park on the 29th of May 2019 to commemorate 100 years of hospitality and to create awareness on the need to have a functional urban park within the city. Staff of the Hilton Nairobi and Double Tree by Hilton Hurlingham were involved in this centennial celebration.
Recently, Hilton Nairobi announced that they have effectively stopped the use of plastic water bottles in All Guest and Meeting rooms. This is in line with Hilton’s commitment to save 20 million water bottles from going into our landfills annually.
