The Hotel is modern, comfortable and luxurious. Sovereign Hotel is 1.6km to Kisumu Central Business District which makes it very easy to move around. It is also a walking distance to Kenya Wildlife Impala Park and the shores of Lake Victoria. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Security at the hotel is also very strict.
Location
The Gated Hotel is very private and set apart in the high-end Milimani neighbourhood which is located on Lolwe road, Off Aput Road.
Style and character
The touch of brown in the hotel gives it a homely feel. The large rooms are filled with natural light flooding from large windows which combined with the design result in a tranquil ambiance in every room. The beautiful paintings and photographs add colour to the rooms, bringing them to life. The lounge bar is well designed and photographs of music icons bring about nostalgic memories of the music of the past centuries.

The rooms at Sovereign Hotel are contemporary and well decorated. A king-size bed, two closets and a safe to store important stuff, a dresser with drawers, a two-seater couch with table, a mini bar, A flat-screen TV and a study desk in case you want to sit and have some work down incorporate the furniture in every room. Water, daily newspapers sugar and tea bags are provided every day. The room comes with a robe, slippers, a kettle and cups.
The bathroom is well designed, with a simple setup which features plenty of storage for toiletries and a hairdryer.
Food and Drink
Their breakfast buffet spread is expansive and includes a variety of hot food, cereals, fruits, an egg station, a juice bar and tasty pastries. The menu at the main restaurant provides family-friendly dishes as well as Japanese Cuisine
Value for money?
There are cheaper options in the town but the facilities provided by Sovereign Hotel and the experience provides value for your money.
