Uganda’s premier music festival, Nyege Nyege is back for its third year and will be happening from 1st-3rd September in Jinja, on the shores of the Nile, bringing a line-up of more than 200 artists that includes Cameroonian signer Reniss, and South African artists Cruel Boyz, as well as a host of Ugandan groups with a twist on traditional music, and international artists, such as Peter Power. Increasingly, it’s becoming the festival in the region, not only because of its magical setting on Africa’s mightiest river, but because it consistently attracts up and coming singers and bands.
