Every year, the Masai Mara comes alive with the Great Wildebeest Migration. The spectacle which happens annually around July, August to September was quite unique this year with the resumption of travel in Kenya. Safari enthusiasts, photographers as well as film-makers flock around the Mara river to witness the Great Migration of thousands of wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. The Covid-19 pandemic has subsequently encouraged more local travel and it was great seeing local content creators documenting the migration.
