President Uhuru Kenyatta last week officially opened Park Inn Hotel, located in Nairobi’s Westlands area.
Pride Inn is Rezidor Group’s third hotel in East Africa and their 36th in Africa with Park Inn Kigali and the Quorvus Collection’s Pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala also set for official opening.
Park Inn is located 5 kilometers from Nairobi city centre within a major commercial and economic district. It’s right off the A104 motorway and about 22 kilometres from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The hotel has 140 rooms and offers all-day dining at an in-house restaurant and terrace and rooftop lounge bar.
Other amenities include a gym, swimming pool and conference facilities.
Speaking during the launch, Rezidor Hotel Group’s Vice President of Africa and Indian Ocean Marc Descrozaille said: “Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city has risen to become a thriving modern capital and one that is regarded as the commercial centre of Eastern Africa and therefore the perfect location for our Park Inn by Radisson brand.
“We are very pleased to grow the Park Inn brand footprint in Kenya. Our brand focuses on convenient locations in this case along a highway making it convenient hotel for travellers going outside Nairobi using the Westlands route.
Park Inn entered the market in style winning the Best New Hotel Construction and Design at the 2016 African Property Award.
